Josh ‘Crazy Horse’ Reed will return to the cage in March, when he faces Marko Kovacevic in the headline bout at Cage Warriors 91.
Reed will once again grace the Newport Centre after taking part in what many consider to be one of the best fights in Cage Warriors history in London- where he narrowly lost to Bantamweight champion, Nathaniel Wood.
The fight drew international attention, when the pair went toe to toe in a brutal round of fighting, which saw Reed controversially stopped before the end of the first round.
Welsh prospect Reed (7-1), will now face off against Swiss national, Marko Kovacevic (9-2) on home soil early next year. The aptly named ‘Crazy Horse’ fights out of Tillery Combat, and is known for his fast paced and exciting style of fighting.
With a win here in Newport he will hope to build himself back up to another Cage Warriors title shot, or follow in his training partner Jack Marshman’s footsteps, with a possible call up to the UFC.
